Checker's - CALISTOGA

My friends and I celebrated my birthday with dinner at this restaurant on Thursday night. We enjoyed Caesar salads, two Linguini Carbonara dishes, and the Braised Lamb Shank. Everything was fantastic! This is the best Italian food I have ever had, and I would definitely be a regular customer if I lived in Calistoga. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. To top it off, I received a complimentary dessert. I can't wait to visit again!

The only issue with Checkers is its name, which gives the impression of a diner. However, it offers more than just burgers and fries. The dining experience is excellent with a variety of options ranging from lasagna to salmon. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the decor reminds me of an Italian restaurant. Overall, it's a great place, but they should consider changing the name!
