La Piaza Pizza - Callander

We had ordered pizza, a wrap as well as a meatball sub and EVERYTHING was hot, tasted fresh, lots with toppings, and the wrap and sub was LOADED inside,will be back for sure, everything was so well cooked! As well as the customer service was perfect!

Pizza is delicious here! It is a bit more expensive than some other places but it is fresh and delicious. Don't order the panzerotti the unless you are a die hard fan. Located in beautiful Callander ON it is a good choice.

This is definitely the place to go for a quick fix on fast food. Everything is tasty and large portion. You get good value for your money. Worth the detour.

What is not shown is that La Piazza is also an ice cream parlour and a "must go to" in summer if you are with the kids. Plenty of flavours and great selection.Location is the key. Walking distance from the Municipal Wharf (if you are boating), central for snowmobiling and nearby to the Centennial Park/Playgrounds, beach and splash pads. (Google Maps has the wrong location. It is at the junction of Main and Lansdowne, just about 200m from the Municipal Wharf.)As for hot foods, there is a good selection of foods, but the pizza is at best average, despite the generous toppings. (I am spoiled, coming from Windsor, Ontario, where the world's best [not necessarily healthiest] pizza can be found). However, the next choice for pizza is either LuLu's across the street which is much more expensive but not much better, or a 20 minute drive into North Bay.There is no delivery available. Neither is dining in. If on foot, go to LuLu's where you can dine indoors (or on an open air veranda). It is also licensed.

Yum. So much bacon, so very well cooked. Yum. Chopped salad is also very good. We use this restaurant for business lunch. The school board also orders pizza lunch every week for the schools near.
