We had several hours overlaying at the airport lima and got a taxi to find a decent restaurant. we chose the location la punta and the driver chose this place. a great choice! service was exact and all wine and food choices pleasant and...good prices, but not inexpensive for peru (about $25 per person for dinner.) we had the fish filled with longostinos and a bottle of local red table wine. the wee was a little sweet for our palate, but the fish was excellent! the service was relatiw fast and we returned with the time back to the airport.
Not for the imagination, if what they want is amazing tasting, freshly made eating, then this is their place! this place is so good that we are here twice during our five-day stay in lima! yes, twice! and this place is good...45 minutes to an hour drive from the center of lima, so it is so good! we loved everything we tried here, but what came back to us was the ceviche and the tiraditos! honestly one of the best and most authentic we had during our visit in peru! the beer is also served really cold! and above all, eating here will not burn a hole in the pocket, as the prices are moderate to cheap! the service was also very good and friendly. during our second visit some of the employees sat with us in the Chit chat and tell us about lima and peru, and we all had a very nice time. both of us visited, we decided to sit outside to enjoy the sea breeze and observe the people. Please note that they have to go to la punta some rough areas, so it is highly recommended that they go there with someone who is familiar with this area and the safest way to come and get out. but if they are there, it is very picturesque beach town with beautiful houses and friendly people. highly recommended! can not wait to come back!
