This place is one of many little restaurants in the square behind the Gordita Statue (Fat Lady Statue) The entire experince was terrible right from the very start Slow Terrible Service, ridiculous price for what we ate drank and then the topping on the cake we got scammed when we paid the bill. All in Seconds Flat !! We were the victims of the old Bait Switch. Our Waitress was nowhere to be found when it came time to pay the bill, but the other waitress (who was a slightly older woman (dirty blonde, curly hair) who was somewhat rude to us when we sat down came to pick up the bill wiht the money. THAT waitress took the bill and money, put it in her apron and then said the amount was incorrect. I immeidately insisted she take out the bill money and SURPRISE, it was $30 USD short !! Wow...was that well rehearsed or what?. It appears this was NOT the first time she has done that trick before. There was SIX of us and we counted out the money THREE times before we gave it to her. Also, something else you should know about DINING in Cartagena and I 'm sure here too. They have a menu that is for locals with really well priced items and then they have a Gringo Menu , which is a special menu with very over inflated prices , which is what I am sure we got. I can 't imagine One Dinner plate with a piece of fish (no bigger than 3 inches long), 4 regular sized shrimps, a few calamari Rings, rice, and 2 Beer costing $37 USD per person. I certainly don 't think the locals were paying that price!!! That 's OK...I 'll make sure everyone who plans on visiting Cartagena knows NOT to go to THIS restaurant. There are many other ones there, not to mention countless other wonderful restaurants in the area. Just don 't eat here !! Blue Table cloths on outer edge of square Stay Away

Insanely overpriced eg a side of anchovies is 15mil for a personal pizza and the pizza was only 12mil, how does this even make sense? We foolishly went here on day one after arriving. Do some research, there are far nicer and far cheaper places in Cartagena that won't make you feel like a complete tourist who just got ripped off!

I stumbled upon this place while looking for a good restaurant in Plaza Santo Domingo. There are a lot to choose from. I enjoy the food, and the Plaza is a cultural gem, but the waitress was not helpful and slightly rude. They were doing 2 for 1 specials on certain drinks, and she showed me the drink menu and which ones were on special. I wanted one on the menu that was the same price as the ones on special, but it was not on special. She said that even though it was the same price, she couldn't do that one as 2 for 1. So I ordered the drink I wasn't super excited about to get the two for one deal. When I asked for the second drink, she said it wasn't free because I had asked for the drink not on the special. So not only did I get the drink I didn't really want, but I didn't get to enjoy the special! Too bad, because the location is great.
