La Dolce Vita - Caloundra

OMG ... the food was amazing. Would easily recommend this place for people to eat beautiful Italian food.The only negative was one of the waitresses had no idea about service or knowing when to hand out menus. Hopefully management get rid of her quick ... but the food was well worth it that's for sure.

We have walked past this restaurant many times over many many months and last Saturday we decided to give it a try as we were walking to a different place. Firstly, we were surprised nearly every table was already booked and there were some very large groups expected to come in. However, the very friendly staff found us a table and we were ahead of the big groups so at least we should be rgith to get our order in and done in time.Everything worked out very well. The staff were attentive and friendly, possibly as the place was yet to fill. The menu looked great and my wife and I both chose the pasta with garlic prawns. It was a great choice and recommend it to others. Large juicy prawns presented in the pasta with the shells removed except for the end of the tail.An amazing dish.Oh, and we had some very nice garlic bread as an entree along with the house style Bruschetta - which turned out to be a bit of a surprise as none of it looked like Bruschetta. Well served us right as we only read the headline itme and didn't read how it was prepared - 3 sampler pieces of different toppings - but still quite nice - just not what we expected.We went next door for the Gelato and that was quite good, not awesome, but still good.Overall, a very nice dinner, but I feel we were well attended to because we beat the rush.

Was great. The food was tastey and well presented! I would recommend booking as it's a smallish busniess. Service was great, even though it took a while to order. The owners were nice and the staff were very friendly.If you sit outside you get a good view of Bulcock beach.

Called into this restaurant for lunch on Monday after noticing they had a Moreton bay bug spaghetti on the specials menu we were seated by a friendly waiter and ordered a wine each and the spaghetti we were not disappointed the dish came out looking amazing spaghetti with a whole Moreton bay bug 6 mussels in the shells and 4 huge prawns, the dish tasted just as good as it looked an excellent meal and location

We had breakfast as a family. Waiter was awesome. Good value food. Excellent kids options. Great coffee.
