It was pleasantly busy the entire time with brisk turnover (Noon - 1pm for us because Mum eats very slowly). Mostly active senior couples dining in (Thursday). Some takeaway orders by younger workers and a mum with small children. We picked up a menu. We will definitely consider returning for the lunch deal. We didn't order entree. We shared one bottle of juice from the fridge. Didn't see tea or coffee. Bottle of cold tap water immediately available (additional bottles in fridge and extra glasses on table beside it).
We, a family group of ten, set out from our hotel on a Saturday night looking for a Thai restaurant. By the purest chance we found this absolute gem, Thai Lime Twist. Unperturbed by having a large group turn up suddenly and totally unannounced the staff rearranged tables to accommodate us and brought out menus. The range of choices was really good and priced quite well. Each dish ordered was given a definite tick of approval but the Kana Moo Krob was a great favourite. Certainly no negative comments from anyone about any dish.Certainly recommended.
Driving past the Thai Lime Twist the other day and saw many people sitting down to eat so we decided to try it.The lunch time specials are great value and the food is very good. I had a duck curry which was great. The service was very good and fast, considering the number of eat in and take away meals. It is BYO which was a plus.Differently worth a visit if in Caloundra
After reading very positive reviews on a different site, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. I chose beef stir fry and partner chose red duck curry. I was disappointed with the quality of the meat. It was very chewy. The flavours of the dish were nice. The red duck curry didn't have much duck. I mentioned to the owner about the quality of the beef who said they had sourced this supplier recently. The waitress suggested that it was good exercise for my jaw.Eventhough I realised she was trying to make light hearted joke about the situation I said she shouldn't be saying this to a paying customer. We won't be going back
Firstly, 4 vegetarian mini spring rolls for $7.90 is huge rup off. Tasted like the **** out of a cardboard box and they were size of your little finger. We had a dish with mixed seafood in it and the seafood wasn't great. Some sort of battered thing in there that was unidentifiable.Panang curry was OK.
