Every time we visit Calpe, we also go to restaurant La Fosa. They serve very good, fresh and tasty food for a nice price. You have a splendid view over the sea and the Peñon. The service is good! We can reccomend it!

Went for an evening meal. It was one of the few places open in the evening in Calpe (new town) in February. We both had the menu of the day which ultimately fed us and included wine, for just over €30. But the crab salad I ordered for the starter was cabbage, mayo, pineapple and seafood sticks! I was hoping for fresh crab given the area is renowned for its fresh fish and seafood which is relatively cheap compared to the UK. It's all presented with a 70'/80's flare about it. The waiters are friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

Playa muy agradable y agradable, con todas las comodidades del paseo marítimo como restaurantes, bares, tiendas, etc. la playa es amplia, con arena fina, sin piedras y casi sin olas. si no hay tantas personas el agua es cristalina. Estábamos en días diferentes, sólo en uno no tuvimos tanta suerte ya que la playa había albado muy lleno de algas, tanto en el agua como en la arena, pero los otros días eran perfectos! es excelente para familias, parejas, grupo de amigos, la atmósfera da para todo.
