Capitol Bistro - Calumet-Norvelt

We waited at list 30min. for a table. We ordered 1 greek salad, 1 Caesar salad and 1 salmon dinner. . Greek salad was the worst ever. Cucumber cut into small cubes they include 1 grape tomato cut into four pieces and few crumbs of feta cheese (mostly was Cucumber salad). I didn't enjoyed at all. I only took one bite that's all. We asked for another Caesar salad instead but they refused us. Salmon dinner was thin slice of salmon with maybe two tablespoon of corn. Bill

The fancy placard out front says 10pm. Are you closed? Yeah, we closed. Your sign right here says you 're open until 10, and it 's 8pm. Don 't pay any attention to the times on there. Order online. If I wanted to pay $10 more just for not having to literally take an elevator down from my room, sure. Their hours are a lie, so don 't plan this unless you call.

Good breakfast! Sweet employees Food was fresh and was a good variety

I repeated a meal I had a couple years back. French Onion soup and Crab Cakes. Good but not as good as last time. Broth was beefy but salty. Crab Cakes were a bit mealy with filler. I asked for extra Old Bay on the side to account for the lack of it in the cakes. That helped as I like my Old Bay after 30 years in Baltimore. Service was upscale and so was the price. I'll try it again next time perhaps.

I have breakfast over here. It was very nice. I choice breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet time 06:30 10:30. The food was delicious ????! It?s very nice convenient restaurant! A lot of people come here ate breakfast!!! Good service!!! Flavorful salads. Home made soups. Traditional bistro entree?s with imaginative twists. Desserts ???? and wines to savor.????????????????????
