While staying at the DC Renaissance we came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it! They have a nice selection of breakfast items placed throughout, so as not to create lines when busy, and the morning we went, it was rather busy, but we didn’t wait at all. Their omelet station was excellent and the chef… This guy (I wish I would have gotten his name to give him a well-deserved shoutout! offered the best service we’ve ever gotten at a breakfast buffet omelet station. He had great skills at making his omelets as well! He not only took our order, but brought it to our table once it was made and offered to make pancakes, waffles or other egg dishes. He had a very nice selection of fresh veggies and meats for the omelet too! The other items on the hot bar were really good, fresh and nicely prepared. Service by our server was friendly and helpful and offered with a smile. Overall, we’d stay here again to have the chance to enjoy breakfast here the next day!
I had the breakfast buffet. Good variety of food and most staff members are accommodating and attentive
Service was stellar. The man who makes the omelettes to order deserves special praise. Quite pricey. The only buffet option is the full buffet, unlike others than offer a low-priced cold-food option. Otherwise, the menu includes only full breakfast options. Even the bagel comes with an egg and chicken breast.
I ate here and ordered off the menu. I am not a buffet person. I had the lemon-ricotta pancakes, which were absolutely wonderful. What impressed me most was the service. I ate at a high-end steakhouse the night before and did not get nearly the service I got at Fifteen Squares! The servers were very attentive. I say serverS because two different people took care of me and gave me simply wonderful service. It is the kind of service you expect at a five star restaurant. Yes, breakfast is pricier than I like to pay for my morning meal. But, it is NOT expensive for D.C., nor is it expensive by similar hotel standards. I highly recommend this restaurant.
