Despite me telling her I can't have dairy, it was completely ignored from the bread we were offered to the lack of guidance on the menu to the food we received. I even specifically asked for no cheese on a dish and it came out with cheese.
Father's Day brunch was just ok for me. I ordered from Brunch menu item Cacio e Pepe soft scrambled eggs. I received not soft eggs but over cooked (separated) and dry, grilled focaccia also dry NO black truffle béchamel on the focaccia bread.
Incredible place with delicious Mediterranean entrees excellent wines and fabulous service. We enjoyed a lovely dinner on the patio and...surprise the Washington Ballet performed in the plaza. A beautiful experience!
This place has really fallen off. Went last night for dinner at the bar and was disappointed to find the entire bar sticky and uncleaned. The food was rather unremarkable which is a change from previous experiences at F&O. Also, the bartender decided to clean the entire bar right after our entrees were served, including spraying an industrial cleaner that we could actually taste after he applied it. Not sure what he was thinking. Hope they return to their old standards as it was always a reliable choice.
The food and atmosphere are great. However, the furniture needs to be cleaned and washed. The sofas were very dirty.
