Iron Gate In Wash - Calumet-Norvelt

The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. We ordered the tasting menu and wine. Every dish was prepared to perfection. The service was superb and attentive! The knowledge of the servers was impeccable. We were not rushed to finish dinner. I loved the total experience.

We went to Iron Gate for our 10 year anniversary and the whole team did everything possible to make it a wonderful celebration. The food was delicious, creative, and abundant. The drinks were excellent and complimentary. The atmosphere was as romantic and pleasant as advertised. But the thing that set the experience apart was the people and service they provided. From the hostesses to bartenders, Abe (our server), and everyone else (assistants, food delivery, chef), it was truly an authentically kind, professional, and celebratory experience. Thank you!

My good friend and I were looking for a second choice for brunch on the fly, since our first choice was underwhelming (a French bistro not far from Iron Gate), and we were so elated when we found this restaurant! The food was fabulous, our server, Michael, was fantastic, and the atmosphere was amazing! I highly recommend the banana pudding French toast and the mushroom arancini PURE PERFECTION!! Thank you, Iron Gate, for making our day so much better than it started!

We had an amazing dinner and culinary experience tonight! We had the chef family menu for $95 per person but we got all the appetizers plus “surprises” with every course. Beyond the variety and creativity of the food, everything was delicious and we were impressed with how light yet filling the meal felt. We definitely took some of the flatbread and focaccia to go. Our main waiter Chris F went above and beyond with the service, informative conversation, and just getting my husband and I very excited for every course! Our water glasses were never left empty and the service overall was super attentive. Overall, a delightful experience and we will definitely be back!
