Logan Tavern - Calumet-Norvelt

We were put in the back room and they seemed to have forgotten about us. It took about 10 minutes to get drinks. Food tasted really good 5 out of 5. Service was not so great. Asked for check waited 10 mins for check, paid in cash, waited another 10 minutes for them to come get it. Also food didn't come out all at once even though we ordered the same items. We eat altogether so we were sitting waiting on everyone's food to get there. Overall I wouldn't come back even though the food was amazing.

I stop here casually.. sometimes to work and have lunch, sometimes for happy hour and it’s always 10/10. I had the buffalo chicken salad today and was motivated to write a review because it’s one of many great dishes I’ve had here. Kid-friendliness: There are kids in here all the time. It’s a family restaurant owned by a family. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on a well maintained street and sidewalk. There aren’t any stairs or incline/decline to get in or around the restaurant

Visited DC for the weekend and Logan's was recommended by hotel staff and was within walking distance. We were seated immediately, but things went downhill from there.Not sure if they were short staffed but it took a long time for our server to bring our drinks, one of which he got wrong, and even longer for the food to come and again, something we ordered was forgotten. Probably would have helped if he would have written the order down.Nothing had any flavor: my pasta, the Mac n cheese, even the fries my family ordered had to have salt added.The waitstaff was pleasant enough, though certainly not outgoing or super friendly.2.5-3 out of 5 overall experience.

Food was good, and service was okay. The waitstaff acted a little strange when not all adults in my party wanted to partake in alcoholic beverages, which didn't make for an unpleasant experience overall but did detract for some.

Service was non existent. No refills on water. Saw drinks sitting at the bar for 20 minutes, melting away before they were given to us. Another 30 minutes before our order was taken. Another eternity before food actually arrived, which was mediocre at best. Rarely saw our server and were forced to pay a 20% gratuity because we were a party of seven.
