My husband and I spent this past weekend in Washington DC and enjoyed brunch at Oohh?s Aahh?s Soul Food restaurant on Georgia Ave. The food was delicious. Everything was nicely seasoned, the fried catfish, collard green, cornbread, mac-n-cheese and thecatfish and grits plate, were all cooked to our liking. And if you have room for dessert, try the banana pudding?delish. Weshared our meals in a comfortable atmosphere, all of the employees were very pleasant. Thanks to the GM, Mark, who took the timeto sit with us (at our request) to have a conversation about the restaurant. Most thankful to our waiter, Mike, who wasattentive to our desires. It was just a delightful experience. We would definitely recommend Oohh?s Aahh?s Soul Foodrestaurant. Delicious
It's a small place but the fried shrimp, greens and Mac and cheese was all good. Very good for soup food take out meal when you have Cravings.
I honestly have not been to oohs and ash's since 2019. I was surprised by the renovations, it looks very nice and the service was A1! Tony, Marley John was amazing!
The vibe was perfect and the fried chicken was delicious. The mac n cheese was OMG!! Definitely will return when I visit DC.
