Paper Moon - Calumet-Norvelt

The only thing I could say is that this place was wonderful. My wife and I were very pleased with everything. I will be celebrating my 2nd year anniversary on 7/7/2009. I could not think of any place else to go but here.

A friend and I hosted an event for charity at Paper Moon. About 90% of my guests are sick 5 days later with E.Coli. One of my guests saw a rat running around During The Event. I would never recommend having an event there. This place has a record with the District of Columbia Department of Health. There are so many better places in the Washington DC area. In addition, I wish I could say at least the service was good, but frankly it just wasn't. The atmosphere was nice enough, but of course, that is if you don't mind a rat or two. The worst experience I have ever had!

The best recommendation for cozy and homey dining. No one can ever convince me that this place has horrible anything! I have had over 5 years of experiences with dining here and have enjoyed everything about my visits. Do try the Green Eggs and Hen. It’s great.

This place not only has a snooty hostess but snooty waitresses as well. Once I was seated (5-10 minutes later! no one came to our table to take our order. I sat and waited over 10 minutes to see if anyone would come so I finally I had enough and walked up to someone and told them that no on had come to help. She simply rolled her eyes and had someone else come. The waitress was rude, did not apologize and when it was time for the check she practically threw it on our table. This was my third and last visit. The manager didn't seem to care either.

I went to this place last week. I can’t say anything bad about it, and everything was just great. I recommend this place to everyone that wants to enjoy a nice dinner no matter the occasion.
