&pizza U Street - Calumet-Norvelt

This is the first time I've ordered it from this and pizza here in Washington DC, my guard nuts were burnt and they did not have enough garlic sauce on them especially if they're burnt LOL. LOL. My pizza was pretty okay except there was not enough sauce on the pizza so therefore I had a huge brunt air bubbleFyi the garlic knots would have been great if had enough garlic sauce

Customizable pizza with fresh ingredients. Flavor is good and the quality as well. Not my favorite pizza spot in town but it's a nice, affordable chain.

Pizza was really really good. Employees don’t say much but not rude either. Quick service. Little seating, maybe seats 15 people total. No wait for us, but we came later on a week night.

From when we walk in last night there was male employee being rude to someone on the phone. I tuned him out then proceeded to look at the menu. When I was greeted by the two staff members making the pizzas by “is yall ordering pizzas or no”. We placed our orders of two specialty pizzas. We where not asked if we want to add anything on to the speciality pizzas. Which I didn’t want to bother the lady because she looks she was ready to explode at any minute. I felt like my presence was just annoying to her in general. When she proceeded to box our pizzas. My friend asked for buffalo sauce. She smacked her lips took a deep breath then proceeded to do it. Then while I walked up to look at the sauces. She asked me if I want buffalo sauce. I said no, I would like pesto sauce and Parmesan. She then goes to say “ I just asked you if want sauce……your starting to throw me off. I asked if she is okay because she was literally exploding at me….then I remembered she was the reason I stop coming last time. She is just so rude for no reason at all. And it seem like manager at the time allows this type of behavior to happen with no correction. Good pizza tho but not worth the bad customer service.

I visited this location yesterday, Feb. 28, between 7-8pm and received the best customer service I’ve received from anywhere in a very long time. I didn’t get the guy’s name but, his positive attitude and service changed the problematic day I was having into something positive.Dietary restrictions: Vegan
