The Zoo Bar Cafe Restaurant In Wash

Dirty and smoky, beer was stale; not the place I remember visiting years back. Really disappointed.

Still the best place in NW DC to see live, local blues

It was okay overprice food. Staffs were ok. Something quick to eat while visiting the zoo.

Surprisingly impressed. Popped in for a quick bite, since the zoo is essentially a food dessert. Bartender was very nice and the blues music was relaxing. All great, but what caught me off guard is the fact that their chili was probably some of the best I have had in the district. At 10 bucks (avg) per plate, for a decent helping, prices were fair as well. Otherwise this bar is your typical dive, no frills seating, and typical beer selection.

Dirty tables covered in sticky stuff. Overpriced food. Waitress hollering from other tables to ours.
