O Lagar - Câmara de Lobos

I was very well attended at the restaurant, the waiters were very good and so was the food. However when I left I noticed a macaw trapped with such a sad look that I hit really my stomach and I felt very bad and sad. This bird was not born to be trapped in a place like this. This is a huge offense and disrespect to nature. Please make sure that this bird can at least have a little dignity in the life it has left.

If you want a typical good quality restaurant this is it. We’re not talking about Michelin quality but the kind of place you should go with your family. The food is high quality, the meat just perfect, and the kids playground is just wonderfully designed. There is also the chance on top floor to watch your kids though a screen while they are playing there. I definitely recommend for family’s lunch dinner

If you want to eat traditional madeirian food this is the place to be.

Good food, good environment and great Madeiran restaurant experience. Been coming here since it opened and I would recommend!
