Great people, great wine, great beer, and amazing time together in this lovely place

Estávamos lá por acaso, nada melhor poderia ter acontecido. O proprietário é realmente muito hospitaleiro, deu-nos dicas, conselhos sobre vinhos, Madeira, petiscos, pequenos pratos locais, etc. Podemos recomendar o wine bar com a consciência tranquila. Estivemos lá várias vezes durante os nossos poucos dias e se voltarmos à Madeira voltaremos a ele.

Wow! What a great place and all round experience. Tinta Negra was a fantastic find that we frequented on numerous occasions during our stay in Madeira and were so warmly welcomed that we felt like regulars by the time we left. Expect excellent and attentive service, a good selection of wine from Madeira including excellent whites and roses and excellent reds from Alentejo and beyond. The bar also do a great G&T and good beer. Delicious Tapas style food is served in generous portions, focusing on quality locally sourced produce. The hosts are not only incredibly knowledgeable about wine, but also the best places to go on the Island, which we subsequently visited. This serendipitous find really made our holiday and we would highly recommend Tinta Negra.

Really great atmosphere, very tasty wine and an amazing and super friendly team. For sure a must visit when visiting Madeira! You can feel the passion this team has about wine and their island!
