Little Petra serves mouthwatering Jordanian dishes like falafel, hummus, fatoush, and baba ghanoush. The portion sizes are generous, making it an ideal spot for dining with friends and family. Vegan options are clearly indicated on the menu, and the bread is simply outstanding!
There is no distinction made between vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, only a "V" label. However, some dishes like the lentil soup are vegan while others like the baba ganujj are not.
I found it difficult to resist ordering every item on the menu, but the dishes I did try left me feeling completely satisfied. The vegan options were delicious, but I would prefer if they didn't use comic sans font throughout the restaurant. That would be my only suggestion for improvement.
I had been looking forward to trying Little Petra since it moved to Hills Road. However, my family and I were ultimately disappointed with our dining experience this weekend. The mixed meze my parents ordered came 20 minutes after the other starters and we had to remind the staff about it. The main course, lamb meshwi, was overcooked and tough. Additionally, we were told the dish came with Tabbouleh salad, which was not the case. The manager did make amends by providing the salad on the house after blaming the mistake on a new staff member. Despite its popularity, I don't think I would return to Little Petra, especially with other quality options nearby. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
