Especially compared to other places with similar cuisine. The pho broth is kinda boring. The kimchi just kinda tastes plain. And the fried rice is good but not as good as any standard Chinese takeout joint.
I was expeting more of this restaurant. I love vietnamese and chinese food, so I went there to try alis pho... it was a failure. I had to pay $13+ tax= $14 for this noodle soup. On top of that, they charge you for a paper bag when it's a takeout. -rice noodles in a chicken broth, cabbage, red onion, cilantro, roasted chicken, and scallions. Small portions of food, overpriced and lack of flavor.
Good food, but some of the menu items have poor food portions for the price. For example, 10 bucks only gets you a few pieces of chicken and some rice for the rice bowl dishes?don?t get these if you?re hungry. I?ve found the Namesake to be the only gooddeal with a good balance of protein and bread for the price.
Had some Bon Me take away today, the Chicken Udon Noodle Soup and it was fantastic! The spices were perfect and what a hearty, soul warming dish for a cold and damp autumn day. I have had take away several times for lunch at the Kendall Square locationand am always pleased. I highly recommend. Tried the deviled eggs today and they were fantastic!
Very tasty banh mi sandwiches. The price is reasonable as well.Food: 5/5
