Contribuisci feedbackIn the past 2 years, I have attended several events organized by the Boston Vegetarian Society, including the Boston Veg Food Fest (twice), a vegan Thanksgiving dinner at Red Lentil, and a nutritional talk by Matt Ruscigno at Walnut Grille. All of the events were fantastic, and I am excited for more in the future.
I am one of the organizers of FF, a must-attend event that expanded to two days in 2009 and continued to improve. The festival, which takes place in October, features state-recognized speakers who discuss various aspects of a plant-based diet, including animal welfare, environmental impact, and health. The event is completely vegan and offers a wide variety of food samples, vegan products, books, and resources for animal advocacy. Best of all, entry is free. Beyond the festival, BVS is involved in advocacy activities throughout the year and hosts monthly dining events with guest speakers at Ramphopper. For more information, visit the website calendar.
