The sides, superb glob of sticky, nearly cold mashed potatoes with gravy that looked like it was pained on, and those green beans, nice and mushy with ham nearly as hard as granite. The dinner roles were really good, I think I pick up those same ones at the grocery store.
Fantastic restaurant. great eating large outdoor terrace
Festive enough ambiance and tolerable indoor acoustics. Our server didn't recognize the names of common wines and didn't know the difference between a red and a white which is the manager's fault. The filet mignon my dining companion ordered medium rare came to the table medium and moreover was dry, not juicy. Very surprising, given the restaurant's touted specialty, as well as the hefty price charged for filet. My companion's cole slaw was soupy with mayonnaise: not to his taste. On the positive side, I had the grilled Walleye, which was quite good. The mac and cheese side was very bland, but the broccoli was well cooked and tasty.
The food was delicious. Had homemade mozzarella and excellent marinara sauce. The service was good. They helped each other out by taking care of customers. The steak was phenomenal. Make sure you order the Mac and cheese.
Every table after we arrived was served before us. The food was nothing special and some was cold when we finally got it. We should have walked out after 45 min of waiting and grabbed Wendy's instead. Food and service would have been better.
