Stopped for a coffee which was fine. In the zone and bought a cake and then realised it wasn’t vegan…doh!
I was so excited when I saw their infographic about the climate change aspect of plant based eating. Then I realized that they’re not plant based- almost all of their food has dairy and eggs. Overall, super disappointing
The vegan options are limited and the ones they had were mostly fried ones. It’s a good place for fast food, but if you are looking for anything healthy, this is not it.
We got the chickpea fritter (aka falafel) platter and the seasonal zucchini platter which came with a couple of slices of tofu in a sweet sauce. We also got the fries. The food was good and filling. I liked the sides a lot (kale and bean salad and a black lentil side) as well as the harissa sauce that came with the chickpea platter. Falafel was fine, nothing special. Pita was hot and soft. Fries were unfortunately overdone and not that tasty. It was a good spot to satisfy vegans and non-vegans. Although vegan items were not labeled on the menu, the person taking our order was well-prepared to tell us what was vegan, veganizable, and not vegan. Prices were fair.
