Craigie on Main - Cambridge

I fully understand that the world has been very difficult lately for hospitality and I write as I would very much like to give you my support again Our dining experience on July was pretty disappointing. The night was going to be stormy but the host insisted that we be seated outside of the tent. When I asked if she had a rain plan, she said of course. When it started drizzling and no one came to assist, we were puzzled. When it started fully raining and no one came to assist, the rest of the dinner was seemingly over. Not only did we have to bring our own, now drenched plates into one of the many empty two tops under the tent but we weren't even acknowledged for doing so. "Service continued" without a word and without a refresh of the water outside of our dinner plates. Thankfully like always the food was delicious. There was no need for any of this to happen. We could have easily been seated under the tent. There could have been a real plan for rain. The waitstaff could have acknowledged anything and saved the rest of the experience. The outdoor dining vibe is enchanting but it is seemingly not a fully developed plan in the second Summer of following COVID restrictions

Craigie Next Door is always outstanding, but the crew went above and beyond on this very rainy day. The food was incredible, especially the pork and dessert. Everything was delivered miraculously dry through creative use of sheet pans. We so appreciated the efforts of the whole team to make this dining experience so enjoyable raincoats and all! Thank you

Outstanding! Although it is an expensive dining experience…..it is worth it…especially knowing we are supporting a wonderful chef and staff….who are vocal and supportive of keeping restaurants open in Cambridge/Boston and the Massachusetts hospitality scene thriving

Had yet another great meal at Cragie. So happy to return and see the restaurant making the best after COVID. Our server Nick was amazing
