Donut Villa Diner - Cambridge

Pretty good brunch and you get a lot for how much it costs! We tried the on tap mimosas which were great, and I had the California omelet with turkey bacon. It was huge! Took a donut to go as well because how could you not. I only took off a star because service was pretty slow and we were told to set up our own table on the patio (had to add chairs to a table with no chairs set up the umbrella, etc. . But the staff was friendly, maybe just busy!

Good unique donuts (like maple bacon), and the hangover burger was surprisingly fitting. I went to this place twice and service was pretty slow both times. Not sure if they had a cook call out or whatever, but they give free coffee refills so that?s nice.

I chose this restaurant because it offers both vegan and non-vegan options (for my partner). The vegan menu was extensive, with a full page of choices. I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich with "cheese and bacon" and it was delicious. My partner also enjoyed his dish. The only complaint we had was that the dishes were a bit salty, but still enjoyable. The diner has a lively atmosphere and is always busy. The only downside is the lack of parking. There is no parking in front of the restaurant, so customers have to find street-meter parking elsewhere. This review was updated on February 20, 2022.

What stood out to me right away is that when you walk in you see an entire vegan menu, and it’s even laminated whereas the regular menu with meat options is just folded on plain paper! You also see three great options for vegan donuts clearly displayed. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch burger and it was DELICIOUS. The “chicken” was so crispy and delicious! They used Sweet earth bacon which I also love. The fries were also amazing and crispy. I also got a vegan glazed donut which was pretty large and very tasty. just very solid diner food! Prices were reasonable, and I’ll absolutely be back!

Tofu scramble onions with a yellowy paste (presumed to be the tofu? . Potatoes were hard flavorless. Despite the vegan menu, I have to question whether only vegan ingredients are used as none are listed and staff seemed unclear for the house made items.
