The ambiance definitely has an old school steak house vibe tan leather booths and historical photos) but everything is in beautiful condition. I would absolutely recommend and will return.
I love Frank steak house. This particular night I was looking forward to a nice steak. It's there signature thing STEAK. Unfortunately my ribeye was ordered rare and it was over cooked. Waiter very nicely to it back and brought me another ribeye. Unfortunately this piece was super black and blue and lot of fat , I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Had to send that one back too. The owner George came over and apologized and asked us if we would like anything else or at least dessert. So me and my daughter split a wonderful piece of chocolate cake and had coffee. Honestly I think the kitchen just had a bad night with my steaks. My daughter's NY sirloin was done well for her. I will definitely keep going back , the food it very good normally. The owner took all my food off the bill and gave us dessert handled very well.
Can't help but love Frank's. Great streaks at a very reasonable price (compared to Chop in Boston it's downright cheap), great drinks, and the top-notch staff. Osiris was our server and she was wonderful. I even remembered and said hello to Sharon, my server from a visit 5 months ago. That's how great the service is, you will remember that person's name months later. OH! and the soup. I had chicken vegetable soup and it was amazing! The homey/old-school atmosphere is another selling feature. Franks is a comfortable place.
Well greeted, and was able to be seated even though the other party hadn't arrived. Started with buffalo wings for appetizer. We both had the sizzling sirloin with sides of rice pilaf and green bean the other party had sides of baked potato and salad. Steak was perfectly cook. Sides were at room temperature, could've been better.
We all got the filet mignon- though cooked to requested done-ness, each filet should have arrived warmer on the exterior- the potatoes with red skins were great and at the hot, right temp.
