The Harvest - Cambridge

I agree with the NIE AGAIN reviewer. Steak was right, but the sauce was sick. The wine list is impressive, but the Argentine wines are too expensive. The worst was the staff sniffing and showed his noses to the ceiling. Cambridge has many other wonderful restaurants please take this from your list of options to avoid being disappointed.

I was four or five times in Harvest and every time I'm gone, the food and service was great. The cook changed the menu every time, but I was never disappointed by what I got. The sides are made particularly good and round a good meal. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

My friend and I tried Harvest a month ago... it was terrible. At the beginning, the bread brought to our table had a ROACH in it. It crawls over the flat pieces of bread in the basket. When the waiter was called to tackle the problem, he did nothing to replace the bread. Seriously? Unfortunately we stayed for the rest of the meal, which was best moderate. Our server disappeared for the rest of the time we were sitting and we were completely neglected. I recommend taking your business elsewhere, Harvest is terrible.

My wife and I have returned (are we glutons for punishment? after a bad meal with really nasty service, about 1 year ago. We thought maybe they saw the light and fixed the problems. It's as bad as ever. The waiting staff is still sniffing and at the same time ignorant about the wine list. The Maitre D ' does not seem to respect the reservation list, to put us in a bad table when explicitly promised a large table where we specified. The food was seasoned and the port was not fresh. The salad was devastated, and we went before dessert and had enough of this place. Without a total change in management and menu, this classic place becomes dump, the sooner the better.

Best dinner i have had in a long time. We split Lobster chowder pie dish and the steak dish. It was the best surf and turf out there. The dessert was the Bouch de Noël whixh was amazing as well. Worth every penny.
