Newtowne Brewing Company - Cambridge

I was really let down by this place. They didn’t have the pizza deal advertised on their door. It was game day, so it was crowded, but there was only one person handling everything. We tried to order a pitcher, but it wasn’t available, so we ended up with Stella instead. We also ordered a Moscow Mule, but they were out of ginger beer, so the server suggested a ginger ale and vodka mix instead. The drinks were decent. We decided to try the Loaded Nachos, which were just okay. When the bill arrived, we saw that we were charged $14 for the nachos, even though the menu listed them at $10. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this place and I don’t recommend it.

Pre-COVID review: Head there for the trivia night and enjoy the music clues along with $4 pizza. I wouldn’t recommend the fried pickles, as the breading tends to fall off easily. On the other hand, the pizza exceeded my expectations and was just as delicious as it smelled. The light beer options were limited, with only Bud offered, I believe.

This place is awesome. Went in for trivia night Thursday. Gotta get there early cause it packs up fast. There is plenty of seating before the crowd packs in. They have decently priced drinks especially pitchers. They have a juke box to play music of your choice. They have a great staff. Shout out to Kelly, she was taking care of us before the crowd go crazy and even better after. They have a large cheese pizza and pitcher of beer starting at 11.99. The pizza is so good. I am def returning here. No doubt about it. I almost dont want to recommend it cause then you could steal my space but it's too good not to share.

Not a bad spot for a beer and a meal. Their deal that's $12 for two pizzas and a pitcher of pabst is not bad! I don't like pabst but the pizza is decent. I ordered the 1945 Chicken Sandwich: BBQ chicken club with fries. I asked for tater tots instead. It was a good choice. There's a jukebox to play songs you want to hear. I threw some Ellie Goulding in there. Got some weird stares but I didn't care. Someone played some Meredith Brooks and I was jammin out. If this was a karaoke bar I'd have had a good time with that haha. Take aways? Food and beer are decent. Give this place a try!!

Very interesting little bar. I thought there would be a few tables outside but it was only indoor seating. We came in for a lunch beer and it was only a couple regulars sitting at the bar. Kinda awkward to ask for a table but the waitress/bartender was super nice. We just got a beer each and got out of there. They did have a good draft list!
