Ben Thanh Viet-Thai Restaurant

The only reason I wouldn't give this a 5-star is for the long wait to get my foodI came with my husband and we ordered two apps and two dishes.

2-1/2 stars The food was okay -- not great; not bad; just okay I had the broccoli and shrimp in garlic sauce.

I recently started working in the area and was dead set against going back to BT in the first month First, the reviews put me off.

Stopped in here with my girlfriend for a quick late supper/bite to eat and definitely had a great experience. Food came out exceptionally quick, as well as the portions were massive for the Pad Thai. Also had a many smoothie there but wasn't as good....More

We picked up some thai food here for lunch to eat at home. So i'll start by saying I was in Thailand last December, and now, have a high standard maybe- but not one that hasn't been met in Canada or the U.S. You can still get good thai food outside of thailand. I did not find however, that Ben Thanh had this.While we were a group of 5 girls, everyone seemed to love the food but me. The only things that were really good were the samosa's and thai spring rolls.
