Beyoglu Turkish - Camden

When I am led through residential areas on foot to get to a restaurant, my expectations immediately drop. I question why someone would choose to go to a place that is hidden away like that. The chef's credibility is lost in my eyes, leading me to believe that the food will be mediocre.

It was a beautiful evening on my birthday, and I didn't eat much all day. I wanted to find a place to celebrate with my friends, and I had wondered if it would be a loud place. I requested a round table so we could all see each other better, and the staff were very accommodating on the phone and set up a nice table for us when we arrived. The restaurant is lovely, with a generous menu that made it hard to choose. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with a rustic and flavorful taste. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcomed. It was the perfect birthday dinner, and I would love to come back again. As we were leaving, one of the waiters hurried out to return a note dropped by one of my friends, which showed their attentiveness and care. It was truly a wonderful evening.
