My daughter enjoyed her meal, but mine was disappointing—it lacked flavor, and honestly, I felt uneasy about eating it after the server's sour demeanor when I asked for cheese dip. I ended up only taking a couple of bites. This experience illustrates just how poor service can spoil what could have been a decent meal. I might consider visiting again, but I would definitely request a different server if I do. Unfortunately, it seemed like this man might have been the owner or manager. If that’s the case, I’d likely avoid this restaurant altogether. There are plenty of other options out there that won’t come with that kind of hassle.
The service here is consistently terrible, and the food is below average. They just throw everything on the plate without any care for presentation, making it unappetizing. I suspect they only remain in business due to the lack of other Latin food options in the area. Local diners might think this cuisine is good, but having lived in San Diego near the Mexican border, I know what authentic Mexican food tastes like, and this is nothing like it. Additionally, my time in South Florida has given me a solid understanding of true Latin cuisine, and this place simply doesn't compare to any Spanish food I’ve ever experienced!
Absolutely terrible! I can't bring myself to eat here anymore; the food just keeps getting worse. I wouldn't even feed this to my dogs. There are so many better dining options in Charlotte.
Los Arcos was exactly what I thought it would be after I sat down. Really really OK. The service wasn't bad, staff is friendly and they are quick to take your order as well as refill water and tea. When I walked in I was promptly greeted and brought to a table, no menu yet (I'm guessing it's because some people chose the buffet, I did not) While waiting they brought me water because they had no soda for the syrups and they also offered me tea. As I am looking through the menu I notice a fly and then another and then another and then, we'll you get the point. I didn't think much of it because it was a little warm and there is a buffet, not to say you'd want flies in your food there either but I was finally ready to order. When I got my food it came correctly and with a fruit fly in the sour cream. I told my server thigh I wasn't planing on eating the sour cream any way. I ate the rest of the food, no flies I could see and it was no where near as good as I hoped it would be. Overall rating out of 5 stars I give them a 3 Food 2 stars Staff 4 stars Cleanliness 1 star They left a lot to be wanting but there's potential and it was busy so maybe my taste buds just didn't like fly.
Got to go with the other poor reviews on this one. What in the sloppy-wilted lettuce fajita salad is going on here!? Decided to stop in just because. Uh maybe it's what I ordered? Maybe not? Fajita salad is a total no . Big fat no Like the lettuce was barely there and smothered with wet hit sauteed peppers. Just wet.. yucko. Lol. Yikes. Chicken was flavorless and service tried to be friendly but didnt seem like enough people working Uhhhh no thanks! I'll pass next time...
