Sea Dog Brewing Co - Camden

I dined at a Sea Dog restaurant many years ago and was disappointed by the lack of vegan options. However, this time I was impressed by the quality of the menu choices and the delicious preparation. The crispy sprout salad was outstanding, and even though it looked small, it was very filling. I added the hummus appetizer from the gluten-free menu to beef up the salad into a meal, but ended up finishing most of the hummus at home. While the hummus was good, it wasn't the freshest due to it being winter during our visit. I noticed other tables receiving the avocado quinoa salad, which looked very appetizing with its creamy vegan dressing. We will definitely return to the Camden Sea Dog or any other location for a tasty, satisfying, and affordable pub meal in the near future. Vegan options may not be listed on the menu, but they are available upon request as many items can be made vegan.

My friend and I were out brewery hopping in Maine, and we found that all the beers here were just average and the service was a bit slow. However, the Brussels sprout salad was absolutely delicious (though a bit salty). I would definitely come back just for the salad.

I would give this restaurant 2 stars for their vegan options. The food was slow and tasted average. They only had one vegan option available, which was advertised. There might have been 1 or 2 other dishes that could potentially be made vegan, but not many. The waitress didn't seem to know much about the food ingredients. It's an okay spot to visit, but I don't think it's worth going back. They do have a beautiful deck with water views though.

We ordered the beyond burgers (without aioli) and they were cooked perfectly with avocado. The fries were also delicious. The server was very friendly and accommodating. We sat at the back of the restaurant with a lovely view of the harbor.

There are 2 vegan menu options. A veggie burger and the Cashew Quinoa salad. It's one of the best salads I've ever had! The sesame ginger dressing has a little heat. Plenty of edaname and cashews a great protein option.
