I've ordered from this restaurant a few times, always getting the oxtails, and I've noticed that the portions are consistently generous—more than I've found at other places. While the food has been hit or miss in the past, today it was truly excellent! The oxtails were tender and packed with flavor, the plantains weren't greasy, and the rice was perfectly cooked—not mushy at all. Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal. However, I gave a 4-star rating because the beef patty had a strange taste each time I've tried it, and the quality of the meat is a bit questionable.

I’ve never had an issue with this restaurant until today. An older lady was serving, and I ordered two large plates of fried chicken for $28. What I received wasn’t even a small plate! The food looked horrible and didn’t taste the same as usual. I got three tiny chicken legs that she chopped up, which were smaller than anything I’d expect for my $28. They really need to stick with the regular chef and server because this woman clearly doesn’t understand what $28 worth of food should look like.
