Contribuisci feedbackI've had Happy Joe's pizza all my life. It's still as good now, as it was when I was a kid. The only issue is the price. They are more expensive that most places, so it makes for a good treat every once in a while. I typically only get it on special occasions, and every time it has been delicious! Not the best pizza I've ever had, but top 5 for sure!Taco pizza is great, and so is their pepperoni. These are my 2 go to pizzas. Highly recommended!
The pizza is great. The guy behind the counter couldn’t be bothered to put his cell phone down and stand up to help me. Another person came out of the back but didn’t say anything at all to me, just stared at me until I said something. I love Happy Joe’s but I can’t support it with this complete lack of customer service.
If you see one of their ads, call them or follow them on social media, because yesterday I saw they were doing double points, and they didn't say how much it was?
Check your pizza before you leave. Chances are it won 't be right. I was offered 15% off for my topping being incorrect, no offer to remake it, nothing else. Honestly a joke of way to make it right .
I am usually an advocate for supporting local businesses and have enjoyed the convenience of ordering food online for pickup, especially during these times when contactless transactions are preferred. However, my recent experience at Happy Joe's Pizza in North Liberty, IA, left me quite disconcerted due to their pickup process, particularly concerning the tipping system. On 10/20/2023, my household placed an order online from Happy Joe's. The digital platform was user-friendly and we appreciated the ability to seamlessly order and pay in advance, which included an option for tipping. However, the confusion began upon arriving at the restaurant for pickup. Despite having completed the transaction online (payment tip), we were presented with a paper receipt that still had a line open for an additional tip and required a total to be filled in, implying a necessity to add a tip again. Not only did this contradict the purpose of having an online transaction completed in advance, but it also created an awkward situation and unnecessary inconvenience as we were made to fill in forms that should have been considered settled.More concerning is the potential for this process to lead to unintentional double tipping. In scenarios where a different person picks up the food, unaware a tip was already included online, they might add an additional tip, resulting from a lack of communication from Happy Joe's staff or a misunderstanding of the receipt presented. While the food quality was as expected, this experience overshadowed our enjoyment. I believe it's imperative for Happy Joe's to address this issue. Practices that can potentially lead to customers overpaying—even if unintentional—need to be rectified to maintain trust. A suggestion would be to improve the system to reflect when tips are already paid or to train staff to inform customers that their bill has already been settled if that's the case.We hope to see improvements in this process as we'd like to continue supporting the business without reservations about misleading practices.
