Off-season the place is quite a lot left, but, Christmas month with exception, this brasserie is usually open and has never left me down. Decor becomes tired... but the menu is decent, and the daily fixed price offer is always good (currently €17.50 for 3 courses) especially with the fish option. Lunch last week with Schwager passed a delicious seafood collection followed by well presented scallops with Iles Flatantes to finish. A beer to begin, 50cl house rosé and 2 coffee after and everything came to less than 50 €. Service is fine when occasionally forget, but I always come (even if others are open).
I have been using this restaurant for almost 30 years and am always amazed by the Moules marinier, the quality, quantity, sauce and accompanying bread and frit is on place. Can seem strange to get so excited about such a simple dish, but its... one of my favorites and on so many occasions it is wrong. As a restaurant it is inconvenient, but the service is good and the shear volume of the people who use it speaks volume.
Nice local restaurant. Lives in summer and winter (weekend only in low season) and good for groups and families. Very explosive fireworks in birthday pudding!
