Much more chill experience than the other cidery in Apple Hill. Both times we've been here, they had a food/pizza truck too. If there is time and you like hard cider, do yourself a favor and include North Canyon in your next Apple Hill itinerary.
First time stop for us here and it was amazing!!! They offer 4 different ciders and let you taste all 4 before you make a decision on which one to sip on. They have a original dry, american sweet, ginger pineapple and cold brewed with hops. I loved the dry, sweet and ginger pineapple! As I am not a fan of beer because of the hoppy flavor I did not enjoy the cold brewed. However my sister who loves beer actually liked this one the most! We got the sweet and ginger pineapple to sip on atthe picnic tables. I also got a 4 pack to take home of the 2 as well! You can either get all 4 of one flavor or mix 2 flavors in the take home pack. COVID-This was by far the safest place we visited! All of the picnic tables were spaced out for you to enjoy your cider on site, there were spots on the floor up to ordering to help keep 6 ft apart, employees were wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer at each table! I only saw one group walk up with out a mask and they were served sadly but other than this everything was great!
Keep growing this sucker!!!! Great cider, great addition to the community. They juice their own apples right up the street.
If you are 21+ and exploring Apple Hill, you have to stop at North Canyon Cider Company. They have 4 different kinds of cider, each better than the last. The best thing about North Canyon though? Not too sweet. Angry Orchard, Reds, and even the Stella Cidre all are way too sweet. Get the dry cider from North Canyon, and you will taste alcoholic apple cider the way it was meant to be. My compliments to the cider brewers and their great recipe. When we go there we always fill up a growler and bring it home. You can enjoy a nice cider and picnic there, but if you do, try to bring your own drinking container, because they only fill up plastic cups. I am not sure if this is because they don't have a dishwasher or some California law, but I hate the plastic cups. Either way, North Canyon Cider Company gets my official endorsement. Edit: I just received a message from them. Their dishwasher broke, so that is why they are doing plastic cups. Thanks for the prompt response. Great social media customer service!
Great spot for reasonably priced and delicious cider! They only had four types when I visited: Hoppy, Pineapple Ginger, Dry, and Semi Sweet. Not that they allow you to sample all of them, so you can make the perfect choice! I absolutely loved the Hoppy variety. It was sweet, light, and had a light hoppy feel. The Pineapple Ginger is also good! It's kind of tarty and not as light as the others. Really enjoyed this place due to the drinks and picturesque views. Highly recommend it!
