We ate in the Tavern which was a really cool space. The food was excellent (especially the French onion soup) and the service was spectacular. I'd recommend this spot to anyone in the area. Great place, amazing history and terrific food and service.
Made reservations one day prior for about 14 people , the owner set us up upstairs ,, well we were all pleasantly surprised , we Had the whole upstairs to ourselves ,, so we had our own dinning table and after dinner we were all so comfortable relaxing on various sofas and easy chairs ! Yet the staff completely attenntive to our every needs and let us continue to celebrate our Moms 82 birthday like it was our own private space ,, it was like a 4 hour reception honoring our Mom ! The owner went above and beyond and it wasn't because we were regulars , but I plan to be , needless to say I highly recommend'
The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. It could be a bit pricey but the food makes up for it. A great date spot or a family gathering. Cozy and educated atmosphere.
I had my after wedding Brunch at Bull's Head and it was perfect. The place is cozy and taverny and fit our 80ish guests spaciously. The food was amazing quality fresh, great selection, plenty of leftovers. The staff was kind and helpful. Was very reasonably priced. Never felt rushed when we stayed a bit past our time slot. Will have to go back for a dinner!
Worst experience ever! Food was poor quality, service was poor the prices were ridiculous and the overall attitude of the owner didn't care. They didn't even come over after the meal and didn't take any concern whatsoever. Anyone that's looking to go to a restaurant especially fine dining is wasting their time and money at the bulls head. GO ELSEWHERE!!!
