Freddie's Pub - Campbell River

Eventually not eaten here. While it's next to a large hotel with family rooms and is recommended here, they won't let anyone in under the 19 years. We were five-parents and three kids from 20-17-15, and we weren't allowed to be in.

The most exotic thing on the menu is Nachos. I had the shrimp club which was good but the fries Ok at best. My friends had seafood chowder poor, seafood linguini also poor, Salisbury steak likewise.

We stayed next door at the Austrian Chalet for 3 nights. We ate with friends on their boat one night but ate at Freddie's the other two nights. Oysters the first night and Seafood Linguini/Wings and Caesar the second night. All meals were excellent and well-priced. The portions were ample. The Caesar salad was clearly not made with "bagged" lettuce. Very flavourful. The service was excellent too as well as the view.

Fantastic food, great value for money, great atmosphere. Stayed in the best western next door so great location for us.
