Honey Lemon Grill - Campbell River

My experience at this restaurant for dinner was fantastic! The portion sizes were good for the price, although the customer service could have been improved. The food more than made up for any shortcomings in service. We were the only diners in the restaurant, so the atmosphere was very relaxed and laid-back.

I never do this. This is the third time I’ve thought, “I just got unlucky, I’ll give them another shot.” We do not get take away or eat out often at all. It’s a real treat for us. Mom of three, tired after Covid shopping...and I get cold service from the staff. And THIS is what my $36 gets me. This is the “treat” I get to take home to excited kids. I haven’t even asked my elderly parent what the result of his wonton soup was. I don’t dare. How is a person supposed to eat these? They were turned over in the container intentionally so I wouldn’t see it. I ordered two orders...both the same! I make these at home. When they fall apart, it takes two seconds to make a new one. This is just careless and lazy. Next time I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

This restaurant has good food and nice atmosphere. The food was pretty authentic. The staff is very friendly.

It really is too bad the previous owners have sold their once awesome restaurant to new owners that have ZERO clue in customer service. I was there last week and and orderered a couple of dishes to dine in while waiting for a friend. I...ordered 2 different dishes(beef and pork), the new owner repeated one dish correct but not the other, I repeated the order and again she confirmed the one dish incorrectly. I did it again the 3rd time and she entered in the computer directly. When the dishes came, one was correct and the other was not, I mentioned that I wanted the pork dish not chicken. She tells me that I did NOT tell her this, and when I said it I told her at the beginning 3X, she then proceeds to roll her eyes at me, take away the incorrect dish and didnt bother even to say you know something like Hold on, I 'll fix that for you I will not spend my money on places that treat people like such, me and my friend was absolutely mortified that a restaurant we went to all the time is now a total joke Like I said too bad it changed owners. We won 't be back.

Really wanted to try this place out as I love Vietnamese, but after getting seated, I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for any server to come and at least order me a drink or something. Owner was out talking with a table and servers...were no where to be seen after I was seated. Unfortunately, just got up and left.....went somewhere else.
