Jiggers - Campbell River

The fried fish at this casual restaurant, converted from a trailer, is excellent.

This restaurant has a fantastic patio overlooking the seaside, with ample parking, a welcoming staff, reasonable prices, and top-notch fish dishes. The halibut dish in particular is highly recommended.

We had previously mentioned that we would return to this restaurant, and we followed through on that promise.

Beats the competition hands down, amazing foot, spotlessly clean, cannot recommend it highly enough, will eat there regularly, only wish it was open year round

Jiggers Restaurant in Campbell River serves delicious fish and chips - get the halibut. They also serve cod and chips, burgers, chowder and home made pies. They are located on the Tyee Spit which offers a lovely view of Discovery Passage. You can watch the fisher people in the Tyee pool right outside at this time of year. The restaurant is only open between May - end of September so get down there quick or wait another year! Service is friendly if a bit hectic. Things get busy on a Friday night. They are licensed with a limited beer and cooler selection. Closed at 7pm. The photos here are not of the restaurant reviewed, no idea where they come from.
