First time eating Korean food and I got the Spicy Korean Grilled Chicken. Way better than expected. Will definitely be back next time were in town. And the rest of my family got sushi. Tried my wife’s Crunch Go Go special roll which was great, if I get sushi next time it’ll be that.
We like hot wings so we ordered them. Specified in comments that we want then on the milder side just incase though, so everybody would find them edible. But they were almost poisonous. Literally ONE bite and 3 of us gasping and coughing….. they weren’t even “flavorful” hot, just an insane unrelenting burning. I touched my face and even my skin burned. Not tasty at all, just downright unpleasant.
When this place is on the ball they are great. Consistency issues however sometimes contributes to a lesser experience. Most recent experience there did not deliver the 'fresh ' experience I have grown accustomed to. Hopefully things get back on track.
Miki’s Sushi and is absolutely the best in Campbell River. More than that, they are consistent and speedy! Service is always good and I’ve gone back time and time again.I usually test places by their sunomono and takoyaki and both and great! It’s my #1 recommended restaurant for sushi in CR (though I prefer the new restaurant they recently opened near the ferry).
