Food was wonderful! Fav is prolly the kampachi sashimi. Bread is wonderful as well.
We had an amazing experience here! We tried 2 raw dishes, the dumplings, cornbread and short rib. It was a perfect amount of food for two. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and the space is lovely. Standouts were the cornbread and kampachi, which was very mild but the texture was so on point. The only thing I didn’t like was the pacing. The dishes came out too quickly and too close together I wish it was more spaced out. We will definitely come back to try more off the menu!
This is our go to place for date nights. The food is high quality and prepared to perfection, every time. Sitting at the bar or counter always feels like you are in the kitchen with a personal chef. Josh and Gavin are attentive, friendly and have great recommendations on sake, beer and wine. Love, love, love this place!
Amazing and unexpected flavor and texture combinations. I'd never think sashimi goes with fermented bean paste, or cornbread with caviar and dill cream. And that sweet pastry thing with duck liver mousse. All the shell fish very fresh and delicious. When Asian flavors were used, they were creatively and perfectly implemented. I have not been so impressed in a long time. Too often at restaurants a menu item has descriptions that sound creative and interesting then it falls short, but here it is opposite, some the item descriptions here simply seemed weird but the results were beautiful. I'm so glad to hear the menu changes because I'm so intrigued to come back for new flavors.
