Nv-80 Grill

NV80 is a really great dinner venue in winter! Super warm inside and although it’s in a mall it doesn’t feel like it all at. My faves are greek salad or calamari for starters, prawns for mains and chocolate fondant for dessert!

I have eaten here on 4 occasions when I visited Cape Town and each time was better than the next. The garlic roll starter is like nothing you’ve ever tasted. It’s sinfully good. Calamari starter also the best I’ve ever had. Prawn mains so fresh and an absolute must have for me. I’ve had their steak which is also reaaaalllllly good with mushroom sauce and side of mash.

I’ve was looking forward to going to this place for a while and it did not disappoint. Great food. Another place added to my list for a quality steak. I would say that the atmosphere is on the quiet side. Quieter than I’m generally used to.

NV80 was a lovely experience. The baby kingklip and risotto was delicious and the T-bone was tasty too! Our friends ordered a generous portion of sirloin on the bone which was off the menu to share. They are regulars at NV80 and enjoyed their meal as per usual.

One of my new favourites! Slightly tucked away upstairs in The Point mall in Seapoint, NV 80 has some top class food. A lovely selection of seafood, grills, and great service. Personal favourite: the teriyaki salmon served with mash and veggies.
