Oishi Sushi

I'm always a bit skeptical when it comes to takeaway/delivery sushi as by the time you eat it; it's just not fresh and rather squished. <br/ This was a pleasant surprise though; it was packaged so nicely, it was as fresh as can be and was just divine. They have some different and interesting ones which we tried a few of and none of them disappointed. <br/ Ordering online just makes it that one tiny bit more convenient. I had seen on other reviews that they could track their driver and got notified when the order was on the way, sadly we didn't and I really hope they haven't got rid of that feature because I think it would be really worthwhile!<br/

The fish is fresh, rice well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Delivery is fast and everything is packed well. Really enjoyed the agedashi tofu which seems (sadly) to no longer be on the menu. Really some of the best sushi in the southern suburbs (including sit-down restaurants). Oishi should be your go-to if what you're looking for is great quality sushi.

Oishi ticks all my food delivery boxes: fast, convenient and good. The sushi was fresh and came with the perfect amount of soya sauce. I wasn't a fan of their crispy salmon rice (it was slightly soggy) or the rainbow reloaded, but loved their California rolls and fashion sandwiches! I'm not sure I would order again as it's pretty pricey for what they offer.

OiShi in Illovo JHB Exceptional menu, super friendly staff delivering our order on time, every time, without exception. Sushi is on the same level as Big Mouth in Sandton. It is 100% worth the premium you pay.
