We couldn’t get in through the drive through the city will ticket you if you’re in line on the street. I get that. Normally if that were the case we would just leave. I’m usually all grubby after work and don’t want to go in. My wife really had a taste for it so I went in. Not too busy but took 5 minutes for someone to take our order. After waiting 10 minutes my wife got her cup with chocolate dip and I was told no banana split blizzard they’re out of bananas. We were asked to try something else I declined and the kid turned around and walked away. We had already paid for it and didn’t get anything including a refund.The counter person just walked away. I’m not going to make a spectacle about $5. But I’m sure as hell never going back. Based on my experience if there’s a line I suggest you go somewhere else.

My fiancé ordered a mini chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard and when we got home she discovered they hadn’t added the chocolate to the blizzard. She had had one bite and I told her I was going to take it back and have them remake it. When I got back the cashier asked what she could do and I told her that the blizzard we had just ordered didn’t have the chocolate they add into the blizzard. She said she would take a look and grabbed it and walked away. When she came back she handed me the cup of melted ice cream with chocolate mixed in and said it “a little liquidy but because she ate half of it she can’t do anything.” I told her she had only had one bite and it had melted at that point that’s why it looked how it did, so I asked her if she could remake it. She turned from me and asked someone in her headset if she could before remaking it and just sliding it to me and said “here you go” And that was that. The fact is they didn’t make the blizzard according to their recipe, so they should remake it! She clearly had an attitude after I asked her to remake it and it’s just so unnecessary and unprofessional. This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues with them not following their own recipe with no explanation and trouble given when we ask them to make it right. We just seem to never have a good experience when we come here, especially later in the day.
I pulled into this dairy Queen because the sign on the marquee said they had blizzards buy one get one for $0.99. I ordered two large blizzards. I was distracted by my children and did not pay attention to the price she told me. I got up to the window and I gave her my card. When I left I realized that she did not give me a sale price she charged me $13.07 for the two blizzards. So when I call the restaurant to ask about this, I was told you have to ask for the sale, If you want the sale price. Somehow you have to be psychic and know that you need to ask for an advertised sale. Not just a commercial on TV that says participating locations or anything like that. This was advertised on this particular building, on their marquee sign. Can someone please explain this logic to me. The sign does not say you need to ask for this sale. Who would think that you would need to do that?
