The service at this restaurant is exceptional and the food is even better! I highly recommend the parmesan-crusted halibut, it's one of my all-time favorites. Savanna, the waitress, is fantastic! She is always willing to help with menu choices when you're unsure what to order. Do they allow you to bring your own wine?

So I am in a local restaurant in syrakus and a few sitting near us. we talk about good eating and they mention a hidden Italian jewel in canastota, called casatinas. fantastic! the atmosphere. we have made reservations, sat right down, brought a bottled wine and it felt like family. we're coming back.
