I Love Thai - Canberra

Prompt service but appeared to be family helping out level of hospitality. Saturday night and all Duck based orders knocked back.Fish cakes had no flavor and curry was missing many ingredients by taste and the ones listed on the menu.Disappointing as was hoping to find another great little Thai place. No music or atmosphere Prices are on par with some of the very good ones in the area.

Saturday night random selection. Ordered thai fish cakes to share and they had no flavour of fish at all. We had to ask for a plate to eat them off to which we were given a strange look. We had a main of chicken red curry (as they ran out of duck) and a majority of the ingredients promised on the menu weren't in the meal. The other main was chicken pad thai that had no flavour and only a couple of random pieces of meat. Overall a very disappointing meal and we wont be back.

I am vego, so can't spek for the whole menu, but the tofu on a stick in peanut sauce is a special treat for me, especially with roti. For a main meal, I get the vegies with cashews or with sweet basil and chilli. Out of those two, I think I like the cashew slightly more. Friendly service, too.

We were in Canberra for an overnight stay and found this takeaway 5 minutes drive from our lodge in Kingston. Tried fried rice noodles with beef and Tom yam soup with prawns. Food was authentic Thai especially the tom tam soup. We asked for spicy and they obliged with bird's eye chilli in soup. Staff were friendly and obliging with our requests. $24 for two dishes.

I arrived back to CANBERRA for work and wanted to try this place out which is a 5min walk from the hotel I walked in and a sudden wave of strong fried garlic and onion fumes hit me .It appears their air conditioning system was off I couldn't stand it I quickly looked at the place and it reminded me of the Philippines ,but see its okay in the Philippines but in a rich trendy area like Manuka it was greasy and disgusting ,I had to wait outside.I ordered BBQ Pork and BBQ Lamb chops which they charged :-) 16.50 each and OMG it look as cut half a pork chop and sprinkle lettuce around.The jasmine rice was terrible and Pad Thai Chicken was so salty.I will not go there again.
