Los Dos Agaves - Canby

As soon as we entered, we stood in the entryway while three staff members chatted among themselves for about two minutes. After being seated in the beautifully decorated bar area, we thought it might turn out to be a great experience. The salsa and chips were enjoyable, but things took a turn for the worse after that. We ordered two waters and two alcoholic beverages, but both drinks were incorrectly prepared. One cocktail was so poorly made that we had to send it back for a redo. When it finally arrived, it tasted watered down. As for the food, it had an unusual flavor—it didn't quite sit right. My partner ordered an enchilada, while I had steak fajitas that came with a strange sauce, which had an unfamiliar shrimp-like taste. Additionally, my water went unrefilled, and our salsa was never replenished. Every time we needed something, we noticed the bartender engaging in conversation with other staff members instead of attending to customers. At one point, several employees even gathered at a table in the bar for a potluck-style meal while we waited. In order to get more salsa or our bill, we had to walk into the restaurant to find someone to help us. The overall inattentiveness of the staff was quite frustrating, and this experience left us feeling neglected and disappointed.

Thirty minutes passed, and two members of my party had to search for assistance before we finally received water—though there weren’t enough cups for everyone at the table. We placed our order with the server, even though it was clear that our table was outside his usual section. Forty minutes later, our food arrived, but we had to wait another 10 minutes for silverware, despite asking two different employees to bring some. When the food finally came, the kid's macaroni and cheese appeared to have been microwaved, as it was burnt and barely edible (see photo). The rest of the meals on our table were, at best, mediocre. While I understand the restaurant was busy and likely short-staffed, the service we encountered, combined with the subpar food, was the final straw for us. We won't be returning, and I urge anyone reading this to consider other dining options. It simply wasn't worth it.

This restaurant is a bit of a drive for me, but it's definitely worth it. The place is always clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. They have an excellent selection of craft margaritas and other beverages. The food is always delicious, and the portion sizes are fantastic! When you sit down, they serve you chips and salsa, along with a lovely coleslaw and refried beans. Los 2 Agave gets my recommendation as a fantastic spot with reasonable prices in the quaint town of Canby, Oregon!

Very enjoyable meal. Husband got the fish tacos and I ordered the fish burrito. Portions were big and the food was fresh and yummy. Only complaint is both the beans and salsa brought to the table were too spicy! We chose Mexican because my kids love chips and salsa but it was too hot for them to enjoy.

This place is an absolutely terrible business. I have eaten here every day and sometimes multiple times a day for the last few months. The food almost always comes wrong even though the instructions are simple, clear, and the same every time I have only continued to order due to severe food allergies and being limited what I can eat. This last time was my last straw not only because they, once again, got the order wrong and ignored the instructions, but because when confronted about it by the DoorDasher picking the order up, they were hostile (the Dasher's words) and rude, refusing to correct the order. I have complained about getting cheese/the wrong order, etc. multiple times and asked to have it put in notes since I order the same thing over and over, but they still send it. I've even attached a pic to show the instructions are on the receipt. This will be the last time I ever order from them again and would highly suggest you never order or eat here, as well. If there was a rating in the negatives I'd give it to them.
