Inside or outside dining. Small menu, everything from appetizers to salads, a burger and wonderful Fetticine Alfredo.
So this was one of those accidental finds, whole looking for something local, we found a tent and a friendly face - down the stairs be XO was a great view over the water, and some awesome hospitality. Super yummy! Food was top notch, and Jose and Steph were great hosts - and if you are looking for awesome service without paying hotel restaurant prices, this would be it...Just a tip - Aquga Santa is next to the OX - look for the small tent and the friendly hosts.
Visiting Cancun on a girlfriends trip, we were looking for a low key relaxing atmosphere for dinner. On the recommendation of our concierge Yasmin,we went to Agua Santa aka the Best decision we made. The ambiance alone made this place all the more better. We started with their Mango Margaritas which didn't disappoint. So fresh and refreshing. We then enjoyed a beautiful sunset while enjoying the tuna sashimi with pita chips and the assorted bruschetta. Talk about fresh!!!! I would DEFINITELY order that again. For the main course we each had a different entree my friend enjoyed the pear pizza which had pear, cheese, and a Malbec reduction on a light crisp crust. My other friend enjoyed the catch of the day- grouper topped with an herb and lime garnish. So fresh and juicy, perfectly cooked. Finally I enjoyed their traditional Mexican ceviche with a mix of different seafood. We also enjoyed house margaritas which were refreshing and delicious. I think the best thing about this restaurant was not just the ambiance but the friendly staff. A family owned restaurant, Jacqueline the owner made a point to come and check on us and see how we were enjoying the meal but also our stay in Cancun a native of the area she was a delight to meet. Last but certainly not least our wait staff Jose Luis made a point to be attentive and got to know us. He was super friendly and even took a photo with us. If your looking for a relaxed not to pricy atmosphere with a great staff and wonderful food Agua Santa is your place. We will Def be returning for our last night in Cancun.
We had heard such great reviews of this new place so we were eager to go here. Made a reservation on our last night with our group of 8. The restaurant itself was very cute with a great lagoon view. We were greeted by the friendly owner and seated outside. She recommended the tuna tartare so we ordered it but found it to be extremely overseasoned and unable to enjoy the tuna. The Santa Agua salad and chicken fajitas had no flavor whatsoever. The Baguette sandwich was burnt! The only decent meal was pizza! When asked how our meal was we told the gentleman it was just okay. He checked in with the kitchen staff and returned to tell us that it was due to having a large group inside. I guess you should only go here when it isn't busy. We won't be back!
