Contribuisci feedbackService terrible and rude. We actually ended up leaving before ordering as it took SO long for the waiter to come back with the menu, and this was after a very rude interaction with him about who told us we could sit on the sun lounges (which was his eager colleague who invited us in to Coco Loco). Came here as a family and after reading reviews, looks like we dodged a bullet. Without writing a 1000 word review, I was taken aback by the rudeness and expression from this waiter someone needs to remind them that there are plenty more beach bars/restaurants to go to, no one needs to settle for terrible service.
We wanted a snack to hold us for a few hours so we stopped at Coco Loco to have nachos on the beach. We ordered nachos because that's a staple snack in the area. They were the worst we ever had. The cheese was a watered down cheese wiz and the nachos were something like a cheap nacho from a bag. The beans were a bit watery and we weren't sure if the chicken was chicken or what. It's hard to believe that we found lousy nachos in Mexico but we did. Service was just okay.
This was my second visit in 6 weeks, the first visit was only for drinks with friends, this time I met a dear friend for lunch. We had ceviche and Don Julio shots, so I can now say the food is good, very fresh ceviche and a nice size portion, enough for 2 for sure. It is a great little place right on the beach, so toes in the sand for sure. The staff is good and quick too! Would return for sure.
Let's face it, Coco's isn't the ritziest spot not even close. That said,it's a great spot to have a few inexpensive Sol or whatever you're drinking. The service is unparalleled. These guys are super attentive. See you in Fall, Miguel!
The service was great and fish tacos were light and not greasy. They had coldPacífico beer so we were happy. Beautiful tables on the beach.
